Garden No.2

My mother planted Iris bulbs before I was born. I loved the colors, and they made me happy. The rabbit hutch was just behind the flower bed and I liked to think the visual spender made the rabbits happy as well. The bulbs traveled from Texas to New Mexico along with my family. Today, the irises make me happy as they have for over five decades. I look forward to them blooming this year. I will draw them again and again. They remind me of my mother who loved beauty and taught me how to see it. She taught me how to make it a way of life. Walking in Beauty
