Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity. --Henry Van Dyke
How did it happen? When did it start? Why does it take courage to say I love you? If it is true, God is love, then if we love, if we create love, if we express love, if we emanate love from our very being, if our essence is love, than indeed we will know God! I don't mean one day when we die we will finally get to know God, providing we have not been really naughty. I mean right now. Love without prejudice right now and know the presence of God right now. Do you agree? Try telling someone you don't know, a stranger, you love them. I did. Even better, try telling someone who is angry with you, someone who is raising their voice to you, someone who is hurting you with their words, try telling them you love them. I did that too. Witness the magical transformation. Love, when expressed, is a weapon of mass creation. Love is disarming. Am I the only one who finds it sad we live in a world where it feels like we are taking a chance to express the essence of the creator? Why is it we feel like we might offend or threaten someone by loving? Would you like to change the world? If so, tell someone you don't know well or maybe you don't know them at all that you love them. Before they have a chance to recover from the shock, ask them to be loving and to tell someone they don't know, I love you. Ask the person to pass on the message of love to another stranger. Imagine what might happen if you did and they did and the people they came into contact with said it. Imagine peace on earth.
