THE RAFFLE
The book Contemporary Native Artists, published in 2008, featured myself and a select group of career artists. I was fortunate to have my art selected to be on the cover. In the pages of the book are two paintings that I have kept for myself. The others have sold. It’s time for the last two to find their forever home.
The Raffle Where Everyone Wins: Each painting is valued at $25,000. If they were to sell at a gallery I would receive $12,500 for each one. Considering the times we live in, I came up with a splendid idea. I will be selling one ticket for $1,000 or three tickets for $1,500 until the amount of $12,500 is reached. When you purchase a ticket, you will receive a personal code for the same value to use at checkout on my personal website rhettlynch.com. In addition you will receive a signed and numbered digital reproduction of “Contemplating the Gravity of Things” accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. You just won! Ticket sales stop the moment $12,500 is reached. As a ticket holder, you will receive a notification as tickets sell and will be notified when the official drawing will be held.
